What do former trainees say about the Legal Advice Centre?
“A wonderful experience I will never forget! It is difficult to say what was my favourite memory, I had many memorable experiences! I really enjoyed working with difficult tasks together with the employees (at LAC). I also loved all the social gatherings we had, e.g. the one time we all went out for drinks and bowling was very fun. Eating lunch together or at the nearby park (with the squirrels) were also experiences not to forget. All in all, I had both great professional and social experiences I will never forget.”
“I had a lovely time at LAC. The staff is very friendly, and we had fun time. Us STEP Trainees could talk to them whenever we had a problem or needed more information about the work tasks or even sightseeing to do in London. The work at LAC is not too demanding, and you do not need advanced legal skills to do great. We STEP Trainees got involved as much as possible in the work, basically working alongside the real solicitors working at LAC.”
“I had a very pleasant experience at LAC; it was overall a great experience that I am happy to have had. The best experience was seeing my clients’ gratitude after having helped them successfully with my own input.”
